Job Description:
Will lead and coordinate technical support activities for new
and existing bioanalytical products and instruments. Will perform as a
subject matter expert and provide high-level technical training to Customer
Support personnel to prepare for product launch and ongoing technical
support efforts. Will oversee the design and delivery of technical
training programs and the development of service documentation including
manuals, retrofit instructions, and parts lists. Will engage with
customers to provide hands-on product support that may include laboratory
installation, evaluation, repair, maintenance, or relocation of scientific
research instruments. Will generate technical bulletins that provide
worldwide service personnel with product updates /upgrade information.
Will monitor instrument performance and present trending results to
Operations and Engineering teams. Will apply in-depth knowledge of biologic
functions, inter interdependences and interactions to develop product and
instrument impro improvement programs in collaboration with Product Development
and Appli Applications teams. Will influence the design of new products
from a servi serviceability and reliability perspective and ensure that the
Global Servi Service Organization can support the product. Education and Experience: Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Biology,
Life Science or related field and three (3) years of experience providing
in-house technical support for scientific instrumentation development;
identifying and sourcing technical engineering personnel and managing teams
located on-site and in the field; preparing training materials for
field service engineers; preparing supporting documentation for new
product launches and providing related internal trainings for new
products; and collaborating with cross site and in the field; preparing training materials for field

collaborating with cross-functional teams to engage in Failure Mode and
Effects Analysis (FME (FMEA) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) for existing
products. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Biology,
Biological Engineeri Engineering or related field and five (5) years as stated
