  • Work under the supervision of the project Office Engineers.
  • Review and process RFIs and submittals.
  • Maintain marked electronic and hard copy redline drawings with RFIs, submittals, PCOs, FOs, etc. and verify that they are current.
  • Organize and distribute drawing revisions and log revised drawings.
  • Maintain test logs.
  • Read and clearly understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with teammates and other team members (Designers, Field Contract Administrators, Inspectors, Schedulers).
  • Perform other duties as requested by the project Office Engineers to support the office engineering team, as needed.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of the contractor's daily activities and the work performed, labor, equipment, and materials used.
  • Review construction materials for Contract compliance.
  • Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance.
  • Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings.
  • Conduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systems.
  • Identify nonconforming work, develop project punch-lists and maintain until corrected.
  • Develop record documentation for engineer review/acceptance.
  • Assist with project audit/closeout.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.*This role is located on-site in San Francisco*Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the engineer.Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience.
    • A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
    • Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
    • Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents.
    • Must be able to work in a team environment.
    • Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
