but around the world.In the role of Project Representative II,
we'll count on you to:
- Work under the supervision of the project Office
Engineers.
- Review and process RFIs and submittals.
- Maintain marked electronic and hard copy redline drawings with
RFIs, submittals, PCOs, FOs, etc. and verify that they are
current.
- Organize and distribute drawing revisions and log revised
drawings.
- Maintain test logs.
- Read and clearly understand and interpret construction drawings
and specifications.
- Effectively communicate with teammates and other team members
(Designers, Field Contract Administrators, Inspectors,
Schedulers).
- Perform other duties as requested by the project Office
Engineers to support the office engineering team, as needed.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications,
and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
- Maintain accurate daily records of the contractor's daily
activities and the work performed, labor, equipment, and materials
used.
- Review construction materials for Contract compliance.
- Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance.
- Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings.
- Conduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing
of completed equipment and systems.
- Identify nonconforming work, develop project punch-lists and
maintain until corrected.
- Develop record documentation for engineer
review/acceptance.
- Assist with project audit/closeout.
- Perform additional duties as needed.*This role is located
on-site in San Francisco*Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), or
Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
- Ability to interpret construction schedules.
- Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the
engineer.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or
combination of education and relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on
multidisciplinary projects.
- Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and
familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction
drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts
within documents.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office,
Primavera, or related construction packages.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
