Job Description:
You Are:You are a highly skilled and experienced computational
geometry expert with a deep understanding of parasitic extraction
techniques. Your expertise in computational geometry and algorithms
is unmatched, making you the ideal candidate to develop the next
generation of parasitic extraction field solvers. With a strong
background in RC extraction, you excel in C++ programming, ensuring
thread-safe coding principles and creating data structures for
incremental extraction flows. Your understanding of signoff
analysis for both RC extraction and timing analysis is second to
none, and you have experience embedding extraction tools in P&R
flows for fast and incremental turnaround.What You'll Be Doing:
- Creating the next generation 2.5D/3D parasitic extraction
product.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining StarRC/QuickCap, the EDA
industry's signoff standard and gold reference of parasitic
extraction.
- Creating advanced algorithms for parasitic extraction field
solvers using computational geometry techniques.
- Implementing distributed processing and multi-threading
techniques to accelerate complex function solutions.
- Developing and optimizing C++ code for thread-safe operations
and efficient data structures.
- Integrating extraction tools into P&R flows for rapid and
incremental turnarounds.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the
accuracy and efficiency of parasitic extraction tools.The Impact

Need:
- PhD in numerical methods with emphasis on distributed
processing or multi-threading techniques.
- Expertise in computational geometry techniques and algorithms
for parasitic extraction field solvers.
- Deep understanding of RC extraction and signoff analysis for
both RC extraction and timing analysis.
- Proficiency in C++ programming with a focus on thread-safe
coding principles and data structure creation.
- Experience embedding extraction tools in P&R flows for fast
and incremental turnaround.
- Understanding of nVidia GPU structure and CUDA programming and
