field.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in a Design/Build delivery environment
for fast-track, mission-critical facilities in the design and
delivery of Data Center and managing multi-group,
multi-disciplinary construction projects and designs.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as
needed.Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial
Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related
technical field.
- PE License, RA License, Chartered Engineer License, or
equivalent technical professional license or certification.
- Experience with data center-specific or equivalent
equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers,
cooling towers, and building controls.About the JobA problem isn't

multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with

across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your
team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are
discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with
engineers.This position expands the capacity of the Google Data
Center Design team to scale with the rapidly expanding portfolio of
Data Center builds across the United States. This role is
responsible for developing design delivery strategies, managing the
delivery of data center designs in the US-Central Region, managing
Professional Design Services (Architect/Engineering firm)
relationships, trending quality performance and lessons learned
across the design program, and consistent reporting of program
health to executive leadership.Responsibilities
- Manage multiple data center design projects from detailed
design through construction administration, closeout, and handover
to operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and
budgets.
- Gather internal requirements, generate design options, and
present solutions to leadership, driving design strategies that
align with customer needs and project goals.
- Develop and implement design execution strategies leveraging
standard baseline plans while managing deviations for localized
requirements due to environmental, code, or other factors.
- Resolve critical project tests, maintaining rigorous adherence
to quality standards and managing cross-functional stakeholder
