Job Description:
A company is looking for a Vice President of
Pharmacovigilance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and build the pharmacovigilance and risk management function,
ensuring safety by design in development activities
Design and conduct ongoing safety surveillance, signal detection,
and risk benefit assessments for drug products
Ensure compliance with global safety regulations and lead responses
to inquiries from regulatory authorities
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D., D.O., or M.B.B.S. with a minimum of 10 years of experience
in drug safety within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
Deep understanding of risks and risk mitigation related to
pharmacovigilance
Proven leadership experience in managing pharmacovigilance teams
and vendors
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines (e.g.,
FDA, EMA)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
across functions
