find out more information.Director of Human ResourcesHogarth is
seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to
lead and manage all aspects of our HR operations for our office in
California. We look to this person to drive an inclusive
environment and supportive culture for our team. This role requires
a deep understanding of California employment law and best
practices, as well as a proven ability to develop and implement
effective HR strategies that align with our overall business
objectives.Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Create and help drive the company's
HR/People strategy in alignment with global, regional and local
business goals. Enhance and advise our use of technology and AI
where possible.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance
management systems that drive employee growth and development.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers
and employees on employee relations matters, including performance
management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and
investigations. Seen as trusted partner to leadership. Ensure
compliance with California's specific employment laws related to
these areas.
- Compensation and Talent Management: Oversee compensation review
and promotion processes, ensuring compliance with California wage
and hour laws, paid sick leave, and other relevant regulations.
Benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards
within California.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and in
partnership with our centralized learning team, develop and
implement programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Champion and protect learning time within the team.
- HRIS and Data Analytics: Oversee the HRIS system and utilize
data analytics to inform HR decisions and strategies. Encourage
team's implementation of process to successfully use systems to the
best of our ability.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department
budget.
- Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work
environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being,
including DEI focused initiatives. Hands on leadership that is
collaborative.Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years
in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with California employment
law and regulations is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR
strategies.
- Experience managing and developing HR teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics.
- Confident interpersonal skills able to build relationships with
all levels of the organization.
- Passion for creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive
environment.
- Experience working with international organizations forging
relationships across countries and regions.
- Ability to work autonomously but aligned to Regional and Global
initiatives.
- Knowledge in prioritizing projects within a large scope of work
for the HR/People team.The base salary range for this position at
the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual
compensation varies based on job-related factors, including
location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and
