- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical
field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software
engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical
experience.
- Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations,
workshops, and training sessions.Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in setting technical strategy for large teams and
large projects.
- Experience in software community engagement, such as speaking
publicly at developer conferences, running meetup groups, or
organizing community programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and
effectively to diverse audiences.
- Passion for developer communities and interest in enabling and
supporting developers across various technology domains.About the

manager and part developer advocate, Developer Programs Engineers
collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate
for developers' interests internally at Google. Not afraid to be
hands-on, you write sample code and client libraries as well as
participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot
and debug coding problems developers encounter. Internally, you
work with product engineering teams to improve our products by
conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs, and
testing new features. Chrome, Android, App Engine, HTML5 as well as
our core Google Apps and Ads APIs are just some of the platforms
you promote and support.With your technical expertise, you drive
strategy around fostering a community of developers who work with
Google technologies. An ardent advocate for these developers, you
represent their voice internally to our Product Managers and serve
as their Google support in application development and technology
implementation.We advocate for developers, dedicated to fostering a
community around Google Cloud. We build engaging content, deliver
impactful events, and drive a developer experience. We empower
developers to build, innovate, and scale with confidence.Within the
Cloud Developer Relations team, the Modern Development advocacy
team's mission is to empower software developers and operators
across the entire life-cycle of applications, focusing on three
core areas: Runtimes, DevOps, and AI-assisted SDLC. Enable
developers to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications more
quickly than ever before.CompensationThe US base salary range for
this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity +
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the
minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US
locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product
engagement and identify user needs.
- Attend or facilitate conferences and events to gain and share
insights on user experience and technologies.
- Lead strategic developer programs and act as an authority in
the domain.
- Contribute input and feedback on products or programs, and
represent the interests of partners to internal stakeholders.
- Create engaging content, including blog posts, tutorials,
