The successful candidate will develop and operate mission-critical services and applications used by customers and employees worldwide. The ideal candidate has six or more years of software engineering experience. The company offers a great work environment.Software Engineer Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $60-$85/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
• Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (New York City, NY - Hybrid, Open to remote candidates in the United States, Candidates in New York City are preferred)
• 40 hours/week, 12 Month AssignmentSoftware Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
  • Design and ship a high volume of elegant code with the foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability, and testability issues.
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
  • Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.
  • Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
  • Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps.Software Engineer Qualifications:
    • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
    • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Working experience in the development of Adobe Experience Manager applications.
    • Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in Java or Scala.
    • Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures.
    • Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
    • Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and the technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems.
    • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
