Mechanical Engineer, System Integration & TestSunnyvale, CAFigure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It's time to build.We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the system integration & test team in designing new test systems for critical robot modules.Responsibilities:

• Design jigs, fixtures and tools which support key robot applications in 3D CAD.
• Design and assemble systems which help with robot manufacturing and integration.
• Generate accurate 2D drawings using GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Build test fixtures.
• Inspect first articles, build test stands, and continuously support applications.Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field.
  • Expert in using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometry.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stackups and overconstraint problems.
  • Experience designing and building prototypes.
  • Ability to write and maintain clean documentation for your design process.
  • Experience with electromechanical integration, such as sensors, motors, motor drivers, wire harnesses, and communication buses.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC Machining.Bonus Qualifications:
    • Experience with dynamometers.
    • CATIA V6 Experience.The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $120,000 - $190,000 annually.The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
