Job DescriptionWe are searching for a dynamic Revenue Analyst 2 who is motivated, results-driven, and solution oriented, while also being passionate about making a positive impact on society. This role will be a key member of the Revenue Accounting Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase and develop robust revenue recognition (ASC 842 and 606) skills along with operational skills by working closely with cross-functional departments of the Company. • Perform revenue close activities including executing journal entries, preparation of lease related account reconciliations, management reporting, and preparation of lease related supplemental monthly reporting schedules and balance-sheet/income statement variance analysis in accordance with our monthly close schedule.
• Partner cross functionally with other teams (IT, contracts, accounting, and finance, etc.) in system and process implementation projects and perform testing to validate system design is appropriate.
• Review and process lease and purchase contracts and ensure system inputs/outputs align with contract.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure.
• Examine and assess the accounting and financial reporting implications related to revenue and lease contracts entered into with our customers, under ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and U.S. GAAP for accountable areas.
• Work directly with external auditors for annual audit requirements.
