ID: 238037Job Type: Full-timeWhat to ExpectThe Failure Analysis Team's mission is to determine root cause and contributing factors to improve the experience of Tesla's products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with a large cross-section of other engineering teams. Engineers and Technicians on the team are responsible for a wide variety of vehicle and energy product systems for existing models and models in development. This extremely high visibility individual contributor role requires extensive hands-on work and initiative.What You'll Do

• Build and operate automated test equipment such as test PCBAs, harnesses, and fixtures to make functional testing more efficient and repeatable.
• Utilize existing company-wide test infrastructure for new products and parts.
• Perform data analysis on test results and present findings to requesting engineers.
• Support day-to-day operations of staff performing high-volume part testing.What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years in a hands-on lab or testing environment.
  • Experience building test harnesses and fixtures.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, DAQs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, curve tracer, and function generators), instrumentation, multiplexers, and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux is preferred.
  • Experience with 3D CAD is preferred.
